REPLACEMENT PRIDECARDS - LOST, STOLEN, OR DAMAGED
If you discover that your PrideCard is lost or stolen, you should first check with the Campus Security Office to see if the card has been found and turned in to their office. If Campus Security does not have your PrideCard, you should follow the instructions below for replacing his or her card.
There will be a $10 replacement fee for any lost or stolen PrideCard. This fee must be paid in full or charged to your student account before a new card made can be made. You should maked payment in the Student Accounts Office during regular business hours, and you will be issued a receipt which must be presented to staff in the Information Technology (IT) Office in order to receive a new card.
If the PrideCard is lost or stolen during regular business hours, you should go as soon as possible to the IT Office (after checking with Security and paying the $10 fee if the card is not found), present your receipt, and you will receive a replacement card. You must then go to the Student Accounts Office to reactivate PurseTwo (for any "debit" purposes), though you must wait at least two weeks so that the remaining balance on your card's "debit" purse can be determined.
If the PrideCard is lost or stolen after business hours (M-TH, 5 p.m.-8 a.m. or weekends), you should go to the Campus Security Office. Security will verify that your are enrolled at the College. Residential students who have lost their card will be issued a temporary meal plan card which will be valid until noon on the following business day. Once offices are open for regular business hours, you should follow the procedures with the Student Accounts and IT Office as listed above.
If the PrideCard is damaged, you should take it to the IT Office to have it replaced. If it is determined that there is a flaw in the card, it will be replaced at no charge. If the card had been bent, hole-punched, or otherwise mistreated so as to eradicate its functionality, you will be charged a $10 replacement fee.
Once a lost, stolen or damaged card is reported, the College will deactivate the card's privileges and freeze the card's campus-related accounts. If you have activated the ATM access feature with Truliant, you should call Truliant immediately 1-800-822-0382 or visit a local Truliant Branch to reactivate the ATM functions.
